Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) is a chronic neurological pain condition that can cause severe, persistent pain, swelling, and changes in skin sensitivity, and often develops following an injury or surgery.
 
Katie Charles was diagnosed with CRPS when she was 16 after an injury. She spent a year in a wheelchair, eventually improving enough to walk with crutches and then a cane. Today, she manages most days to walk without it, but she still has difficult days that make moving through the world a challenge. Much like most chronic illnesses, some days are more tolerable than others but the pain and the illness is there every single day. CRPS touches every part of her life. There is currently no cure.
 
This design helps raise awareness of CRPS and shows support for those living with the daily challenges of this often misunderstood condition. All profit from CRPS Awareness merchandise will be donated to Fight the Flame, an organization dedicated to raising awareness, supporting research, and providing resources for individuals affected by Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.
